This is the day that the LORD has made!

My random verse for this day......"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." - Phillipians 4:8 Everyday brings many different opportunities. Opportunities to live in defeat or victory. To live in regret or rejoicing. To live in Christ or in the flesh. There are many things this day tempts me to dwell on. The loss of my baby girl or the peace that surpasses all understanding. Aching arms yearning for her or surrendered arms given to the good works that God has for me. Lots of people would say I had the right to sit and sulk in my misery, especially on this day. But when I gave my life to Christ I no longer live. Sure He would allow me to ache, complain and mourn, but I'm choosing to allow Him to turn my mourning into dancing! I will not give into my flesh! My God has given me all I need for this day! This is His day NOT mine! I could choose to think about all I am missing out on and by doing that I would miss out on today and the blessings that come with it. I have two children to love and hold. I will not allow my flesh or the enemy to steal, kill or destroy this day. Salvation is for eternity as well as today! If you live in Christ I encourage to to take hold of the victory, pick up your cross and give your everything to the One that gave you everything!
